The Palme Center’s work is primarily funded by institutional donors, in particular the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the European Union, alongside membership fees and contributions from our Swedish member organisations and individual donors.Low administrative costs
A well-functioning administration is essential for ensuring effective and accountable operations. In 2024, we worked with 190 local partners in 38 countries, carrying out activities worth over SEK 185 million.
95% of these funds were used directly in programme activities with our partner organisations. The remaining resources, only 5%, were allocated to administration and fundraising.
